Becoming A Donor

The Bandera Community Foundation provides donors with expertise and flexibility in charitable giving. We take pride in finding a way to fulfill your charitable goals with maximum tax benefit.

Perhaps you already know the purpose of your contemplated gift. Or maybe you're wondering, "What are some of the current needs that exist in my community that aren't being addressed?" In either case, please contact us. We'll examine the opportunities and possibilities together so you can make an informed decision.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as you think of becoming a Bandera Community Foundation donor:

• All gifts received by the Foundation will receive a letter of appreciation and confirmation of your tax-deductible contribution.
• Any donation or gift designated by you to another organization can be made anonymously if that is your wish.
• If you're an employer, you can enhance your employees' gifts by matching all or a portion of them. You may also request grants be made to nonprofit organizations selected by your employees.
• Our investment committee and Board of Directors, through their policies, set a high standard of oversight for many types of donor funds. We honor a donor's trust by closely monitoring investment performance to ensure it meets or exceeds the benchmarks selected for the fund.
• As your community foundation, we are here to help you and your financial advisor make the most effective use of your charitable giving plan. Our goal is to help you realize yours.
